ECMS STLP Activities

In STLP at Edmonson County Middle School, we do many things to help our school. Some of things that we do are:

8 We make web pages for our school website.

8 We report about events in our school and community.

8 We use software to create the school yearbook.

8 We prepare and read morning announcements to the student body.

8 We create a monthly school calendar of events that is passed out to all students and staff.

8 We take pictures of school staff and make identification badges and door signs for them.

8 We make banners for events taking place in our school.

8 We set up computers, load programs on them, and do simple repairs and maintenance on them.

8 We put together and present a PowerPoint presentation to honor our middle school graduates at the 8th grade graduation.

8 We create and present PowerPoint presentations for other school events throughout the year.

8 We help with keeping inventory of the school's technology equipment.

8 We show teachers and other adults how to use software, computers, digital cameras, scanners, and other technology equipment.

8 This program teaches us to be leaders so we can help everyone in the school to be able to use technology for learning.
