When a bus driver turns in a student on a Bus Discipline Form, the first time is generally a warning with the note sent home to be signed by a parent. The second Bus Discipline Form receives a warning, possible report, and the note sent home for a parent/guardian to sign. The third Bus Discipline Form usually brings a suspension of one to three days from the bus.

There are circumstances that govern each bus incident, and each incident must be judged on its own merits. A serious incident may call for an immediate bus suspension, school suspension, or paddling. A minor incident may only call for a verbal reprimand.

An incident without a Bus Discipline Form is not recorded as an incident. If it seems to be of a nature that is serious, the principal will investigate and take appropriate actions.
